Literally never heard of this. Are there details anywhere?

The scanners actually worked for once and it still took ridiculously long.

I received an email yesterday about it. The email contained a link to info.

On some level I find it hilarious that the new technology has proven so unworkable that we have to introduce yet another new technology. And the idea of leaving a tailgate to go check in and then go back really sucks. I imagine if/when they roll it out to broader audiences they will have more stations. But still.

We are litterally solving problems by creating problems. Atleast they’re trying I suppose.

Why it took a long time was the people behind their phone. Saw people trying to scan and could see the green bar going across their screen scanning like multiple times trying to get it to accept or holding their phone wrong, not using the back of their phone up against their scanner. I was on the bridge and could see people at a scanner for what seemed like 5 minutes.

Obviously some people still struggle with the technology. Fine. But even in a best-case scenario it is still considerably slower than before - perhaps only by a few seconds per ticketholder, but multiply that over thousands of people and the lost time is enormous.

How nobody has thought to allow you to batch up all of your tickets and scan them at once is beyond me.

I park in C1-C2 so the station next to the Hilton ticket office made it super easy to get the wrist band, and getting in the stadium was almost too easy. There was one person standing there who was barely paying attention. Something tells me that isn't going to last if more people start to use it.
