I drove through a Kentucky town called Paintlick.
Are you sure it wasn't Sisterlick?

I'm sure there are, but if you don't take it more than likely some grand kid borrowing their grandma's care will park there.
There will be a tent with the games on at Cowles Commons (scroll down to the Hoops and Hops under entertainment on the link below). It's about 4-5 blocks from the arena.
Also, they announced on KXNO yesterday that they got permission from the NCAA to have the ISU game on in the concourses on Thursday. They are still working on the details (it will be limited - not all TVs), but more info should coming out soon.

On a scale of 1-10, how hipster are you? Court Ave is tired and an arm pit? Get out.
I saw plenty of that at Hilton. I was in a wheelchair for the first five conference games in Jan & Feb. We had all kinds of problems getting parked. One attendant told us that people showed up two hours before the games so that they could get the spaces next to Hilton. Watched plenty of people walking to those cars after games, while more than a few of us in chairs pushed up & over the road to the lot on the other side. Fun times. Gave me a renewed respect for the struggles of folks in wheelchairs.
Well...He did compare Des Moines to Alaska aka middle of no where.
He stated something similar to, "Des Moines? I thought it was Anchorage."
True story: I saw multiple mobile homes parked at cuttys today decked out in UK stickers. I had to pull in. Talked to them, said very impressed with DSM area and excited about the golf dome having showers in the locker rooms.

Actually True Story: The golf dome, clubhouse, and everything that was there was torn down over a month ago. Why are you lying?
I knew it was closing but since when has it been torn down?
I first noticed it down on 2/26.
I first noticed it down on 2/26. So I guess it hasn't been over a month. I regret my mistake, unlike bringmagicback who lies for unknown reasons.
I certainly don't have a problem with a 5 minute walk. I parked nearly a mile away in KC and walked to the P&L district, just so I could avoid paying for parking.
The point being that where the Sprint Center is in relation to their entertainment district trumps where Wells Fargo is in relation to Court Avenue. I find it hard to believe that the atmosphere outside of Wells Fargo arena will be comparable to that on outside of the Sprint Center.
Just my opinion that Wells Fargo would have benefited by being in the middle of where people want to mingle, not 5 minutes away on top of a hill, away from everything. May not be a big deal for you, or I, but a 5 minute walk for most Americans is an eternity.
Lol it was a joke obviously, for one, mobile homes arent normally that mobile, 2nd, the domes been gone awhile, 3 why the hell would the stay at cuttys, 4, why would I drive past cuttys as I live 2 hours away.
Sorry I ruined your night.
