Season 3 debuted last week and there is a surprising amount of ISU love in it. An entire episode takes place on campus and one of the characters wears a ISU hoodie in a few episodes. Was surprising to say the least.

The farmer's son, "Wayne Frake," played by actor Richard Haymes, from the 1945 version of State Fair -- Rodgers and Hammerstein's first movie musical.
The clip starts at 11:25.
@Kagavi figured rather than than make the jersey, the studio as likely called Iowa State and ordered it. As the movie is in Technicolor, the color is still true. The clip begins at 11:25, and Wayne with the jersey on is pictured on and off through 18:15 -- with larger shots of the jersey inside the house.
Errata: Bing Crosby makes an audio appearance after 13:30. The song Margie Frake, the farmer's daughter, is singing there is a reprise of "It Might As Well Be Spring," which she sang not too long prior to 11:25. It won the Oscar that year for best song.
Also during the time Wayne appears in the sweater (11:25-18:15), Harry the Hawk, Margie's would-be suitor makes an appearance. They don't come right out and say "the Hawk," but come on.
I wonder if Tim Taylor ever wore an ISU shirt. He had a different college shirt on almost every show.
Most were from colleges and universities in Michigan. He would wear them from schools that would send them in.

After further research, this is a school in Michigan. I believe he repped mostly Michigan schools since that's where he's from.
Wasn't he wearing this right before the last state of the union? Because it is his favorite hat. Right?
