I thought you were, but now that you have reminded me who you are - can I have my $7/month back for 27 months a few years ago? I mean - surely someone who gets paid for giving opinions about ISU athletics can see the magnitude of ISU now being on the right side of realignment and in tune with the Southern Power Brokers of CFB?

Strike 2. What post of mine would make you think I was Paul Clark?

In all seriousness Clark - sorry for forgetting who you are and associating you will JMiller. My post while optmistic should be the realistic goal of all Iowa State fans. Its hard to maintain two major market fball programs in a relatively small market. Iowa State in the Big 12 is in as good a position as it has ever been. I was speaking to the maginitude and money the inclusion of Iowa State brings. Iowa fans posted 9 pages calling it dilusional, they have earned that opinion in a 30 year comparison, but its not that crazy to think with equal resouces Iowa State can overcome them n the next 10 years.

Ok, sorry, I have no idea who you are - sorry. But I stand by my opinions.

No need to apologize and you should stand by your opinions. Just weird that you're the second poster in two weeks to call me Jon Miller.

Third Swing Clark - you are a Hawk, run a website - Yes?

I was a Hawk til 1992, terrible time to change, see it can happen even when the future isn't as clear as it is now.

Sorry pal, that'd be strike 3. I'm just some Joe Schmo who likes talking about sports on the internet like everyone else on here.

Yeah, you seem to think the SEC and big 12 are equals. They aren't. Its the SEC then everybody else right now. The big 12 has been much closer to the level of the big ten than the SEC over the past decade, not that it really matters. The power will always change in college football, no single conference, or two conferences will forever reign supreme. Besides, there are too many power programs and too much money in the bigten for it to remain down for much longer.

Finally, aren't these sort of elitist comments what ISU fans hate about Iowa fans?

Chuckle, big twelve close to big ten. Now that is some funny stuff. I guess that might be true if the big twelve were regularly bad in bowl season or out of conference, but they aren't.

The big ten is closer to the Mac than they are the big 12.

I get around
We play Iowa in September...that's the best time for our team to do the talkin..I'm excited about the Big 12 and Iowa State at the moment! It will be a fun Summer.
Very well said! This Big 12 stuff is really really shaping up nicely for us. From all indications, the Florida and Clemson thing could happen very quickly. Nice.

Yeah, your conference is better than ours. You told us.
