From what I have heard on here Cyclone Alley will now be on both sides of the court this year. I'm somewhat concerned about what will happen to those true cyclone fanatics that dress up in the elaborate outfits to come to the game. As nice as the shirts are they could be stiffling to a good outfit. I hope they can figure out a way for these people to be able to get close to the court this season.

On another note, I've always dreaded the days of not being able to be in the student section anymore. The thought of having to sit through most of a game horrifies me. I don't think excitement and thrill of basketball and football events just can be maintained if I'm not standing and cheering the whole game. Does anyone else think there would be interest in a designated standing section or regular ticket holders? It could be in the parquet for basketball and perhaps near the students for football.

CycloneAlley will take up both ends of the court and the band will be sitting in the section as well.

I went to a Notre Dame football game this past year and they have a designated "Standing Alumni" section. I thought this was a very good idea.

For football, its easy to go sit with the students.

they are adding two more bleachers to the west end, so it will look just like the east section, with the pep band taking up some of the sections (like they do for the women's games).

unfortunately, that's the way it works. either you've got to be in Cyclone Alley, or have season tix to get the good seats. Although there's not really a bad seat in the house, but there are some not so great ones.

what do you mean they didnt deserve to be there??? They are the ones who are donating money to the university year in and year out. Without their donations, who knows where Iowa State would stand on athletics......
