Embarrassed to be Football Fan

This might be the most embarrassing loss of the Rhoads era.

Getting blown out by OU , Baylor, Tech, etc. aside, how do you lose up 21 at halftime? You play not to win. Heaven forbid you do what is normal and take a knee with less than 2 min left.

Rhoads needs to go and the rest of the staff with him.

I am disgusted and embarrassed to be a Cyclone Football Fan today.

Been here the whole time, they wouldn't have been this close in the 80's... 90's maybe 00's for sure. This group just doesn't have the killer instinct or doesn't know how to win, let's get a coach that want's to win. I am done with Rhoads.

Maybe OP just repressed the , Criner/ Banker(last 2 games of '86), & Walden years. Luckily I was too young to remember the Criner tenure and part of the early Walden years.

I agree...it's embarrassing. Not sure why you have to be a coach or a player in order to be embarrassed...it's ridiculous that we have a team that is capable of winning and can't get it done...ergo, embarrassing.

I'll side with OP on this one. I've been along for the ride a long time, as a fan, a student and "just a fan" again (though now I'm in a position to contribute). I have seen, and been through, some ****, as have most here. Today was the first time I felt "embarrassment" though, and I honestly thought about venting that out here, as the soap has, almost 4 hours ago.

Want to clarify a bit. This has nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to do with the players. These guys, from what I can see, are playing their guts out. I feel sick for them. The embarrassment comes from up top. An absolute joke.

I totally agree! The coaching is the issue. Know the situation and coach to it...

People say that it can't work, Rhoads supporters and haters. Here, we make it work every day. We still have our disagreements, of course, but before we reach for hate, always, always, we remember the Titans.

It's frustrating we lost to KSU yet again and CPR was exposed long ago, but I am never embarrassed to be a Cyclone fan. Don't be such a little *****.
