We need this guy as close to 100% as possible. Especially with the big boys on the schedule still to come. If we get up by a decent amount the next couple weeks, I am more than happy with him taking a drive or even a quarter off.

Campbell said he could have went back in if they needed him

Was it an elbow or a shoulder deal? All I could see was that he was holding his arm kind of gingerly on the sideline. Didn't look like he could have gone back in if they needed him but I guess you have to take Campbell's word for it.

Shoulder. It was funny they had him on the sidelines doing mobility exercises with the water bottle holders.

I think he is just battling some stingers.

Hasn't he had shoulder issues for a while? Or am I lumping him with our past stud safety? (Not sure why I can't remember his name. He was revered for his hitting.)

Kamari Cotton-Moya? Yes he had shoulder issues. Greg Eisworth has always been healthy. CMC said he is ready to go this Saturday so nothing to worry about.

It seems like he has been banged up since the Iowa game. He made some big hits that game and he was testing his shoulder after several plays. And now he has been taken out of two of the games since.

whew - glad you were able to put your medical degree to work and give eisworth a full exam and evalution. thanks for doing that.

That’s why I said GUESSING. He’s come up with a bum shoulder several times this season. It’s not a stretch to say that I’d guess he’ll be dealing with it all season.

I’m guessing you’re correct. Plus the way he plays, he’s going to be chronically banged up. Pretty common this time of year.

I don’t think the drop off is as severe as some, but hopefully he’s functionally healthy enough next week.
