ALLLLLL the kids have DS. I went to several Xmas parties and all my younger cousins, nieces, nephews, etc. all were sporting the DS. And those that didn't have one wanted one for Xmas.

PSP is a portable for the core gamers (18-30 yo) so they can play Grand Theft Auto when they aren't at home.

My DS makes it's home in my bathroom, it beats magazines and newspapers hands down for things to do on the crapper.

DS is better for kids, but the PSP's hardware runs circles around the DS.
