Ok I know absolutely nothing about Doug. Please tell me why we would want him playing for the Cyclones? Would he actually play? Couldn't we use a scholly on someone better? Would it benefit him more to go to UNI? Like I said I really dont know.

I have seen him play a couple of different times and I was impressed with him and his ability. I do wonder though, how much he has benefited from the talent he is surrounded by at Ames. They have "The One" of course and several other good players.

At this point, I would say he is not a Big 12 player. Coaches though, they see potential (where I wouldn't), and they get paid a lot more then I do.

If he fills out like his dad, if he progresses the way his dad has the ability to coach big men, I could see it. At this point though, not completely sold on ISU.

He's very crafty around the rim, can score with either hand, and is a good shooter out to 3 point line.

Question marks:
Height - currently a tweener at the D1 level.
Strength - He's going to mature, but it will be late.
Defensive presence
Lateral quickness

Well he sounds better than I thought he was. Sounds good, thank ya.

Thats true playing with other good players probably can't hurt. IMO I just thought he'd be more of a mid-major but I guess we will see.
