My pet peeve is when people drive 100000 miles per hour every where they go in Ankeny. If people in this town had half a brain they would realize that they could drive 10 mph less and not have to pull out in front of me all the time and ..... shocker..... it might take you 1 more minute on your drive.

Other pet peeve is to the 60 year old man who got mad at me when he drove right through a stop sign and I honked at him. The man literally got out of his truck and started walking toward me yelling he was going to kick my ***. I had to stop laughin so I could continue my drive.

I like the location of Ankeny... but I have never lived in a place with this little sense of community. People here are a**holes.
I lived there for three years and will never move back. Way too many rude people.

It's almost as if you are not a lifer in Ankeny, you aren't shizzle. Maybe, it's changed in the last 15 years. Come to Grimes. We show the love. Great place, young population, best kept secret in Central Iowa.

On your license plate, the little sticker is supposed to go in the bottom left corner...

NOTHING makes me more crazy than the idiot with the stickers all lined up around the outside of the license plate!

Lots of little things **** me off, but this has to be the smallest, I really want to follow these idiots to there destination and give them an education.
They all went to the U of I. They got a great edumucation. They obviously, can't read the intructions. This irk's me as well.

Two points - Tecate is my personal choice in Mexican beer. It can be found at Hy-Vee and other stores. Also, Modelo and Negra Modelo are great beers and can be found at major grocery stores too. Beer snobs laugh at Corona drinkers, Mexican's do think it's **** water. They don't even sell Corona Light in Mexico, anywhere!

I glanced at this thread and skimmed parts of it a little thing the makes me irate is people who don't park straight. Its really not that hard to park you little Pontiac Grand Am mostly right with the world and thus avoid taking up 1 1/2 parking spots, if you don't get it perfectly straight the first time back up and do it, it takes 20 seconds and saves the rest of from the urge to run into your car to "fix" your parking job<end rant>

Wow, we agree on something!

I love Negro Modelo. It is hands down my favorite.

It's Negra not Negro but I also enjoy this brew...especially with good mexican food.

Since its going to snow today. I hate it when fast lane of a 4 laner is covered with snow and too dangerous to travel on BUT the guy in the good lane is going 25 mph in the slow lane even though they could probably do 35 or 40 saftely.

Guessing that will be scene tonight heading up or coming home from the game!

I have a lot of pet peeves as I'm a bit OCD... Too many I'm sure and I will probably pop a brain vessel at 42...

As concerns beer, I have a lot of favorites and like to spread my allegiance around. I'm not a fan of mexican beer genereally although there are some decent choices. How, though, does the opinion of mexicans really make a dang difference? Just because it comes from there doesn't mean that they should like it to, or that if they don't your a fool for drinking it. I have heard the same about Fosters. If you like it, drink it and don't worry too much about what Jose thinks... He probably eats a lot of crap that you don't like too...
