I agree with you, but how is DJ's soft verbal letting it known that he has closed his recruiting? I take a soft verbal as "I like this school a lot, and will sign with them if nothing better comes along".

That is exactly how a Soft Verbal is viewed, but I have not read anything yet where DJ Marshall has changed his verbal to a Soft Verbal, its seems that its Rivals assuming that since he went on a trip, that he is now a Soft Verbal and this could be the case. I guess the only thing we can really do is wait until signing day.

I also did not realize that Mangino was an assistant under Snyder.

Chizik said he is going to keep recruiting kids even if they are verbally commited to other teams, as long as the kid does not tell him to call anymore. At that time Chizik said he would not pursue anymore. You need to keep recruiting kids that have given verbal commitments to schools, because you never know what might change in that kids mind. The verbal commitments mean nothing till Feb. when they can sign on paper with schools. We took a couple of UTEP recruits last year, so I think you can see that we will stay on kids just like every other school.
