I'll use marinara sauce if I have it. It's just more versatile compared to tomato soup for me, so I usually have it handy.

Orange juice. Much deliciousness

Interesting. My wife is partial to peanut butter sandwiches with her mac and cheese. So likely similar in flavors.

Has anyone else tried a grilled peanut butter sandwich or a grilled PBJ? Just make a regular sandwich, butter it and grill it up. It's really warm and gooey. Just make sure to get the PB and J toward the middle of the bread so it doesn't come out the sides.

I have had a fried PB&J at a fair once and needless to say I will get it every time it is on the menu!

Never tried salsa, but I will also use Sriracha from time to time

I bet marinara is tasty too. I'll have to try that as well.

I heart this thread.

I was appalled, disgusted, confused, when my wife and I made grilled cheese together for the first time and she broke out the ketchup. Progresso's Tomato and Basil Soup is the only acceptable option.

The best samich I ever invented during my days in Ames was a grilled peanut butter and cheese. After coming home from the Cave Inn one night, I was trying to decide if I wanted peanut butter on toast or grilled cheese. I compromised.

And before you get all righteous, how many of you have eaten peanut butter and cheese crackers? Almost the same thing...
Grilled peanut butter, marshmallows and a little honey. The best

If you put anything else in a grilled cheese (bacon, turkey, ham, etc.) then it isn't a grilled cheese, its a melt.
What if you accidentally get one bacon bit on your grilled cheese? What if it is two bits? What is the threshold for your GC becoming a melt? Would your wife accidentally getting a hair in your grilled cheese make it a melt? These are questions that must be answered.

I’ve never really understood sriracha.

It was very trendy there for a bit, but there's nothing all that special about it. I like to keep some on hand to add a little heat to dressings, sauces, and marinades, but that's about all I find it useful for.
