Did 'you're on the hot seat' turn the season around?

Since that video surfaced we've gone 3-1 and have looked much better both on offense and defense. But most notably the O line has done a better job blocking for our RB's.
Do you think that motivated CMC and the team or had no influence at all?

I fail to understand how some people place every win or loss on coaching. Sometimes players have an off day, sometimes our team does not match up well with the other team, sometimes the ball bounces the other way.

We had a tremendous amount of turmoil by losing starters at key positions right before the start of the season and a new OC still getting his feet under him.

Actually, I think the coaching staff has done an excellent job recovering from the turmoil it has had to deal with.

No, it did not turn the season around. And frankly, I know it's easy to point to the Ohio game as a low point that obviously must have motivated changes and turned the season around, but I'm not entirely convinced of that either.

Given the youth of the team, the new coaches, and the sicknesses of some of the most important players in the Ohio game (not to mention gambling issues, some early-season injuries to key role guys, etc.), I'm not sure there are any specific changes that wouldn't have happened regardless of the Iowa and Ohio losses.
