I just read on Forbes he is the richest person in Iowa with about a billion dollars in assets. Seeing as he runs an ag company I was wondering if he is an ISU fan. What can JP or Leath(?) do to maybe entice him to finance the future Albaugh End Zone project? You've got to think this has been tried already...?

This has never been discussed before... I'm looking forward to the healthy discussion.

It has been at least a couple of weeks, so we should probably get a couple hundred new posts with everyone's thoughts/comments just to make sure we all know where everyone stands.

So Romney = SEZ?

Probably not. If Albaugh hasn't put up the money by now, I don't see it happening.

If we're going to soak the rich with more money though, I sure wish they would spend it. It would help the economy. But instead they keep it for themselves which they have every right to do.

As you can see, I'm trying to shame Dennis into paying for the SEZ!!!

He's a Cyclone fan.

He could probably fund the SEZ project just with the tax cut he'll be getting under Romney I would think?
And regular fans could buy tickets to fill that end zone with the cuts everyone will get, not just the rich (as with the bush cuts)

Is Albaugh heavily involved in the infrastructure work being done along I-35 near his home? Looks like there is an enormous amount of money being spent to develop that part of Ankeny. Hard to image that much happening right next to him without him being very involved. Perhaps he is waiting to start getting some return on investment there before he makes a contribution to the SEZ.

P.S. Pardon me, but I don't remember the previous conversations about this, though I'm sure there have been plenty.

Albaugh's BLACK RV sits outside the east gate at ISU games!

he needs an underground space on the south side to keep the peons away from his RV. I think he could build a nice garage and we could put some seats on top.
