Would it look just as embarrassing as coaches trying to do our jobs?

Ita simply opinions, I have never seen 1 person on here claim they could be a Division 1 head coach so this is pointless.

I mean you are constantly on here second guessing the coaches. That's a way of claiming you can do their job better.

Aren't you an Iowa fan anyway?

Although they do it differently i think heise and watson are pretty equal on the defensive end. I have been told that heise makes shots in practice and I'm guessing the reason that he plays over watson is tj sees a higher upside with heise and he knows that IF nate ever snaps out of this and starts making a few shots and can give us 5 to 10 points a game we become very difficult to beat for anyone. Will nate snap out of it? Noone knows but I think his upside is alot higher on the offensive end.

Also when Milan is out there Nate can cut and move from many different areas on the floor to keep things spread out.

A few games ago (UCF) his teammates were trying pretty hard to get him a 3 at the end of the game and cheer him on. They must know what he can do.

I'd like to see if Watson gets brought in to harass a 4/5 in specific situations to change it up. That wasn't needed yesterday.

Bbbbuutttt....Then the band wouldn't get to play!!! What are you a pervented Commy?

Yes I like hot women shaking their bodies.

When she was coming out to perform my wife made the comment that this must be a new halftime show. I told her "it has to be because I would definitely remember a hot blonde hula hooping".

Don't mean to change the topic, as this thread is just getting interesting. ;)

But there is a chance @alarson is onto something. Why is a Science & Technology school still using an Analog approach in a Digital world. Why pay an overpriced Head Coach millions & millions when we could allow members of CF to "donate" money to sit on the bench with a Microsoft Surface. Querying this DeepSix thingy on player substitutions, offensive sets, defenses and ordering lunch from DoorDitch.

Jamie needs to get on board with the future if we are to be competitive in football and basketball. Having Top 15 teams sucks, when we all know ISU is #1 & #2!!

Again I apologize if I kill this thread.

I guess you an I are different. I just noticed the really, really big bouncy horse she was standing on.

My parents couldn't afford that big of a bouncy horse as a kid. Guess that's why I turned out the way I did. Missed out on blondes!

Even my straight ex was more attracted to things like this than me

Also, never forget Timberlake showing the world what we needed 20 years ago.

I guess where I stand on this is Watson is getting offensive boards and some put backs with the occasional cutters and some free throws. Plus if we're calling them a draw defensively I'd take the one that's producing some points rather than could be shooting better some day.

I agree with others about Heise being a better ball handler keeping Watson out. I think I'd rather see Watson than Chatfield at this point.
If we're winning I didn't really care though. I do think Watson is underappreciated either way.

Underappreciated by who?

Clearly from this thread, and the consistent loud ovations and pops in Hilton when he enters the game or makes a hustle play - he’s loved and appreciated by fans. Otz always says great things about him in interviews, both on the court and off. By all accounts, those two have a great relationship. Hell, in the world of transfer portal, the fact that he’s stuck around for three years says that their relationship might be as strong as any on the team.

I suppose? I have no insider information on interpersonal relationships on the team.

I don’t think you would need any insider information on interpersonal relationships to answer a question related to your post. Who is he under-appreciated by?

His usage rate is proof enough for me, plus many fans on here tend to poo poo his impact in comparison to other options.

I just wish Heise would at least just look at the basket on offense. It's 4 on 5. Do we need an extra ball handler that bad? I was surprised Watson saw zero time yesterday. Shocked if he comes back next year, but that's next year.
