say you propose to the love of your life and she says no. then goes and gets engaged to someone else. turns out her new man is broke and she leaves him. do you take her back?

Don't want Vaughn. Don't care if you think it's illogical.
I'm happy with a set of players for next year who didn't think it'd be smart to play for Dave Rice.

Because this is the same thing?
Look at the teams left. It's a whole bunch of teams with experience and/or balanced talent. There isn't a team with a one and done guy carrying them. Kentucky has a whole roster of that type of talent but they aren't the norm. I'd take Vaughn but he won't have the impact next year that Kane did this year.
Apparently there are a lot of people ITT that never made a bad decision in high school and don't think a high school kid that did should be able to correct that decision.
The ultimate kick in the chops would be Rice leaving, Vaughn opening his commitment, and then Vaughn going somewhere else.
Why do you consider talk of a NC lofty after what happened this year?I'm thinking the same thing.
Of course, I'm sure I'd welcome RV if he wants to come. If he came here, and had his head on straight, we'd contend for a National Championship next year IMO. He is EXACTLY the guy we would need next year. An awesome two guard that can really shoot it, and can drive it as well.
I know talk of a National Title is quite lofty, but I would stand by it. We are a GREAT combo 2 guard away next year IMO.
