I'm getting weird stares from people wondering why I am laughing for no apparent during a grad classes

I haven't always thought Dave Barry was that funny but I haven't laughed this hard just reading an article in a long time. He's right--the hospital procedure is easy--it's the "prep" that's brutal.

I remember the lady pharmacist handing me the "prep" supplies with a wry little smile and saying, "No parties at your house this weekend, I see."

They are embarassing, but Im sure its worse for the docs and nurses. I had one done last year and just before I got knocked out I realized one of the nurses was a friend (girl) of mines mom. Thank god she wasnt there when I woke up.

True story. I was talking with a person who recently had a colonoscopy. Although he 's a very nice person , "his elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor." He told me that they found 1 this year. I said that's good. Then he told me the following:

"Last year they found 4 colons in me." :biglaugh:
