Anyone fly out of Cedar Rapids frequently? I'm usually open minded to where I fly out of if I can save some cash. General experience:

Cheapest: CR
Cheap: DSM
Stupid expensive: QCA

Just go to google flights, tell it to include all the airports you are willing to drive to, and plug in where you want to go. Then you don't have to even worry about which airport has cheaper flights in general.

I do this with Kayak. I include DSM, CID, MLI, DBQ, and ALO in my search when I'm looking to fly into eastern Iowa. In my experience, MLI is usually the cheapest but not so much so to make it worth the extra time.

Strange, because more often than not I find DSM is cheaper than CID. And MLI is nearly always cheaper than CID.

This is exactly what I do and seems like 9 times out of 10 CID is the cheapest. Maybe it's just a fluke?
