Yeah, I'll be there.

CF - Perhaps a "Cyclone Fanatic Bus" for all Ames/Des Moines Cyclones that are interested in coming down?

This will be an excellent event. Cy throwing out the first pitch will be sweet. This will be great exposure for Iowa State! (The game is on FOX that weekend as well) And, to be honest, ISU needs more events like this one.

Let's get as many Cyclones as we can to this game and represent. I know during our meetings with the Royals, they were adamant about adding ISU to the fold down here. They also mentioned that KC is a "Big 12 town," and now that Missouri is no longer in the conference, ISU is the obvious choice to have more events in the city. They know that we travel well.

Plus, tailgating in June is awesome. Let’s make this an annual event for Cyclone Alums/fans! Come join us in Kansas City!

Go Cyclones!

I really want to go to the Royals game, but have tickets for the Nationwide race. Any takers for those? Chris?

THIS IS BIG FOR IOWA STATE - Should be a great time too. We need more Cyclones to get involved in this event.

Cy is throwing out the first pitch on National TV - this is good "pub" for Iowa State! Come down to KC for MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL.

Seriously though, Iowa State could use more events like this. Next year, this event will be an extension of the "Tailgate Tour" that ISU does throughout the summer. It is nice to have recognition like this, especially in a town like KC. Let's show the Alumni Association that this can be a huge event for Cyclone Families and Friends.

Is CF planning a bus trip for this? Is there any exta interest? It is going to be a great time to tailgate. Come on Cyclone Nation!

I just wanted to bump this one more time as the deadline to sign up is next week. We currently have around 100 people that are going to make it out it should be a good time.

My wife and I just happened to plan a visit to KC for that weekend to see some friends, then found out about this. We were planning on going to this game that day anyway, so this worked out perfectly! We'll be there with 5 of our friends!

Great time at the tailgate and game tonight. Thanks for everyone who helped organize it and made it possible. My group of 16 was already asking about next year. Knott proved that throwing ceremonial firt pitches into the dirt is for Hawkeyes. Nothing but power for ISU!

Thanks everyone who came out I hope that you all had a great time. Hopefully we can get ISU to sign on next year and have this as part of the tailgate tour. It was great to have Jake, Luke and Cy out for this event. Great turnout.
