Cy's day at the K (Royals game) June 28th

Once again the KC area Alumni Association will be hosting a day at Kauffman Stadium for a Royals game. We would like to invite out all area Cyclone fans and their family's.

Saturday, June 28 is the Second Annual Cy’s Day at The K!

Throw on those Cyclone Sweet 16 Basketball shirts and come spend Saturday, June 28 cheering on the Royals as they set out to defeat the Los Angeles Angels.

The ISUAA Alumni Club of KC will host a tailgate starting at 10 a.m. in Lot N. Food, non-alcoholic beverages, tailgate games, and tables will be provided. Please bring your own chairs and any other beverages of your choosing.

The cost includes your game ticket, a Cyclone / Royals baseball cap, Jack Stack BBQ which will be catered in, plus non-alcoholic beverages (tailgate portion only). Tickets will be handed out at the tailgate before the game. The Royals giveaway that day is a James Shields bobblehead.

Tailgating starts (Lot N): 10 a.m. (lots open around 9 a.m.) We will start serving food a little after 10:30 a.m.

This was such a great event last year and on it's way to becoming a great Cyclone Summer tradition! Hope to see many Cyclones come down from Iowa to KC for another fun weekend.

I'd like to think they could get more ISU alumni to make the trip, if they held this day on a day when the Royals were scheduled to play a team like the Twins, rather than a team like the Angels.

I know I would have made the trip down today if the Royals were hosting the Twins.
