So, this was your fault?Wow! I watched the first two sets, then went back outside to work on my weekend project (removal of failed fiberglass egress window enclosure prior to replacement). I came back inside just in time to see a Duckworth service error in the fifth set which left us trailing 8-5. Wachholz and Schmitt came up big when we needed somebody to step up - an ugly win is still a win - Go State!!!
I've not been able to watch recently - is Nayeli injured? I don't see anything on-line other than an article saying she wasn't available for a five-set loss at Syracuse last week.
Couldn't say it any better. This has been a consistent problem and can only be directed at coaching. So frustrating.
say something to the usher at top maybe they will do something. Had somebody sit in my others womens tickets last year and told them that wasn't their seat and if they wanted to sit there the price was $25 a seat. they got real nasty but moved. I dislike people who think they can just sit where ever they want.Aside: people sitting in front of us are in our friend’s seats. Wish our friends were here. This couple sat in others’ seats all the time last year, and it’s really irritating. Especially today in row ahead of us because they’re both tall. @ImJustKCClone will understand.
I don't think it's fair to only point the finger at CJL.Couldn't say it any better. This has been a consistent problem and can only be directed at coaching.
they started off good and then lost focus for some reason but I thought Schmitt was a difference maker coming down the stretch.I don't think it's fair to only point the finger at CJL.
Gonzalez's lack of production (compared to last season) has been the biggest issue IMO with her missing the last few matches and not playing that great when she has played. I am assuming her absence and level of play is primarily injury related but when she was playing earlier, I thought her conditioning had slipped and that could be injury related as well. If the team has any shot to make the NCAAs, she has got to get back to playing like she did last year.
And VanGorp beat out Stonestreet for libero and her absence is definitely injury related and has impacted the team in recent matches.
I didn't watch yesterday;s match but according to the box score, she moved Jackson to OH to start the match in attempt to shore up that position but Schmitt later replaced her and helped win the 5th set.
They constantly play well at the start of matches and then decline or don't adjust to the other team. That's not an injury issue.I don't think it's fair to only point the finger at CJL.

She has a shoulder issue they are nursing her through. I hope it gets better because we have not been very good lately other than Lilly Wachholz with a little Duckworth thrown in. Only got to watch two matches and the middles have been good in both but we are racking up really bad losses to South Dakota and Syracuse UTEP? Hope they turn it around.Don’t know, and couldn’t find anything on X either.
