If ISU comes out in some newly refined offense as a 'surprise' it will be CPR-QB special style and also not good.

Good read but I am not optimistic that a single thing changes after the last 3 weeks. It seems Campbell is intent on blaming execution and saying “we are close” over and over. Guess we’ll see on Saturday.

"Just a hair off" is his new favorite go-to.
“If those linemen just fire off a half-second quicker, or just get that second step out there a tad faster on the trap, our running game would be just fine. It’s just execution, you see, the plays we’re calling work for a touchdown every time we draw them up, they’re the right plays, we just need our guys to do their jobs just a hair better.”

Let’s see…a bunch of 3 and outs due to a stuffed run game. Then get down 10. Then game over.

I kind of have the same feeling.

OSU is not a good team, and their rushing defense is horrible. I have a feeling that Campbell is going to see that and be like 'this is a perfect opportunity to establish our run game.' We need Rocco to throw it and use the field more. Need more passes in the middle of the field at a medium distance to open up the run game.

Acknowledging the problem is the first step toward recovery. The staff doesn't seem like they have reached that point yet.

I almost believe you’re psychic.

Then get a late TD to cut it to three, make the opponent punt, get the ball back with 1:30 left on the clock with no or one time out left, and run a couple of dive plays or something else that doesn't take clock stoppage into account.

I’m beginning to think that players formations plays is a total BS line that doesn’t fit their real philosophy.

That's part of the process. They had good practices this week. They are getting closer to being where they need to be.
Just a hair off. Unfortunately that’s a big damn strand of hair.
