Edwards was his normal unstoppable self but Tyrese taking over in second half is almost certainly what kept Team USA from losing to Germany today.
I’m guessing in terms of efficiency/advanced stats Tyrese has been the second best player in these tune up games and even though he hasn’t started he is playing lots of minutes and key minutes. I think today he was better on defense than Brunson, also the way he can produce so many baskets for others and himself without really dominating the ball is just perfect for this kind of quickly put together team. I see his role being similar or greater when the actually championship starts next week and barring injury I can’t see how he isn’t on the next olympic team.
