I love all the content they have added over the last year or so, but the layout and overall design is terrible. It is in serious need of a makeover.

Agreed. I don't even go to it because I can NEVER find what I'm looking for on there.

Cyclones.com: SIMPLE IS BETTER
Ditch the background. It's hideous and annoying, and it makes everything impossible to read

Ditch the ESPNU feed. Nobody goes to cyclones.com to find out what's going on on ESPN.com.

Make the damn calendar bigger and tell us where we can watch/listen to/keep track of the athletic events. That's not just the network, but the channel (for DirecTV, Dish and Mediacom as applicable), station (FM, AM or streaming URL), or live stats update.

Ditch the STUPID borders around the frames. They just take up space and clutter up the page.

Actually you might just want to start from scratch. You've got a page that's 1280x3000 and you've got 320x240 worth of content on it.

Whoever designed that thing should be banned from the internet.

Well, you're going to have to put up with it like this for at least another year. JumpTV puts a limit on major redesigns in a certain time period.

Unfortunately, the site was designed by a graphics specialist instead of a web specialist. At the time of the changeover from CSTV to XOS/JumpTV, there was no web services person at ISU. That's why cyclones.com looks how it does.

The ideal template is something closer to KSU's design.

I like it a bit better, but there's still too much crap on the front page. The menus are MUCH better there, but it still suffers from too much clutter due to a bazillion meaningless frames full of crappy flashing buttons.

Something akin to sportsline.com or foxsports.com would be much more to my liking.
