Does anyone subscribe to CycloneReport through Rivals? CycloneFanatic seems to give me all I need, so I don't think it would be worth it for $10/mo. Am I right in thinking this?

there is nothing there worth one cent, let alone $10. I'd consider paying $10 to not have to hear about cyclonereport.

If you are really into recruiting, it's good. The discussion is night and day better at this message board. Inside information is pretty equal between the two sites.

I don't see how they will survive long term with how good of job Chris is doing here.

I subscribed with them a long while back. Nice to have once in awhile IMO. But you'll get everything you need here.

i hate all those message boards that require you to pay to post. CR, IA Preps, Predicament, etc. Makes the opionions of a few seem like the masses. Also, free message boards allow for outside input and casual fans.

I am a member there. It is pretty toxic over there. On here there are enough reasonable people that the idiots get drowned out. Over there, the idiots run the show.

I'll also add that I think Paul is burned out. Which may be reasonable considering our programs, but it is not not fun or entertaining for me, as a fan. There is a fine line between being realistic and just being bitter and angry. And I think Paul has crossed that line more frequently lately.

Former member over there... i get some stuff from there forwarded every so often, but really not enough to be worth the money.

I'm not hugely into the recruiting thing. For me its hard to get all wrapped up in someone who's never played a second for ISU. Paul does a fantastic job with it, just not something I'm really into. I'm more into the message boards for the community. Ive gotta have waaaay more OT posts than cyclone-related posts on this board.

Probably the best thing that site does have going for it is there are probably more high-level donors per-capita that might have some inside connections, but thats lessened with the growth of CF.

I like them both. Both sites do a good job. Bickering on both sites. This site has alot more non-ISU talk, that one is mostly ISU.
