Watching the game on ESPN2 and got a call that KASI 1430 announced the UCONN student thugs beat up CY and broke his or her arm. Hope a good lawsuit is aimed at UCONN thugs if true . Sounds like something an IOWA fan might do in IOWA CITY.

Iowa fans are not this bad.

If Cy is so threatening to opposing teams' fans that they feel to need to physically assault him, then he is hands down the most dominant mascot. Contest over.

Wow...Cy doesn't even talk. Why would UConn fans have so much hate towards Cy that you'd shatter both bones in his forearm and require surgery?

This is just a pathetic story. I'd like to know more about it, but I'm positive cyman wouldn't have done anything to deserve this.

I would press charges without hesitation, but that's just me.

Wow, he's the kid who called into Soundoff last week and then was excited to talk about it on the CF thread. Somehow hearing him on Soundoff and seeing how excited he was with the win and getting through on Soundoff makes this even more real to me. Now I'm even more ******.

**** that. Press charges. Its a game and nothing more. Definitely no reason to go off assaulting someone let alone the mascot.

No charges being pressed? That's too bad. Some ****ers just got away with battery causing bodily injury.

I'm guessing being 1,000+ miles away has something to do with it.

I'm also guessing because Cy's a good kid that he wouldn't do it.

True. Well, we can only hope something good comes out of it, or ISU has nothing better to do and presses charges.

Then again, they probably don't even know who did it.
