Saw an ad with Cy during a tournament game today. It has an unexpected ending that had us laughing out loud.

Turns out it's kind of an NIL deal for Cy for Duke Cannon soap - pretty cool!

I always wondered how ISU representation ends up in commercials like that. Does the university pay for that?

I’d assume that those commercials need to pay the university for the rights to use their brand. It’s probably why you usually see the big names in these commercials, as most consumers would recognize them.

ISU got a cut. The guy repping Cy got a cut as well. He will also be staying clean for a while thanks to Duke Cannon.
