Iowa's schedule reminds me a lot of ISU's under Mac, when we got to miss OU and Texas. One of those years was Mac's 9 win season, KU also had the same schedule and that is how they got to the Sugar Bowl or Orange Bowl that one year.
Look at a school like Rutgers, they have no chance to really ever win anything. Every year they have to play OSU, Mich. MSU and Penn. St, to even go 2-2 would be a heck of a claim. Most years they will be lucky to win one of those games. Throw in cross over games like Iowa, Wisconsin and NW and Ash better make hay during the nonconference to even get to 6 wins.
