I really liked this article for 2 reasons. 1) it was an honest, fair assesment, and 2) It was positive in both Curt's and Quincy's parts of the article. When Curt and Douby played each other at MSG as freshmen, i knew they were both special, but i thought Stinson was better. Douby may have come out on top (that still pisses me off) but i thought stinson was better. I havent seen Douby since but i knew his ppg was gettin up there towards the top. Good luck to both of them. Especially Stinson!

I don't like a lot of these articles about Stinson and Blalock simply because they almost ALWAYS mention something about the two being overlooked and underrated....and they seem to insinuate the reason they are overlooked is because they played at Iowa State. Statements like that are not good for recruiting.

Changing the subject and I'm not sure I even want to bring this up, but I'm going to:

The fact that Wayne Morgan had 2 NBA players (probably 3 with Rahshon) and we had the #10 seed in a very weak Big 12 speaks volumes for his coaching ability. More confirmation that the right move was made...

The problem with Dad was he had no viable PLAN. The last time ISU had 2 NBA players in Fizer and Tinsley, the results were a little better.

I would guess they would be overlooked more because they only played in 2 NCAA tournament games and their teams were never special enough to warrant attention. Had they been fighting for conference championships, made noise in the post season tournaments and played on a ranked teamm they may have been noticed.
