Craig Brackins=Danny Manning

I could go on with comparisons about each players game, but that's not the comparison I'm going after. I knew Danny while he played at KU and you'll not meet a nicer, more humble guy. The more I listen to Craig and the more I watch him and the choices he makes in life, the more similarities I see in the two. Very proud to have him as representative of our university. If any others out there know the two would you agree this assessment?

There is one HUGe discrepancy between the two: Masnning's dad was on the KU payroll, while ISU didn't offer Brackin's dad a job. :wink:

I LOVE CRAIG, what a great cyclone! Can't wait to see what he can do leading the team in Big 12 play this year. His jumper is so smooth, he will be a good pro and make a nice SF in the NBA.

I honestly think my fav part of the game was how Brackins handled the double T with Colvin. He was right there, very calmly leading Colvin away before anything spiraled out of control. The man acts as a team leader in so many ways.

I think the bigger difference would be a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

Not to trash on the comparison, I'm sure as people the are both quality guys, but as players Brackins has a lot to accomplish for there to be an = sign.

Let's hope Craig doesn't get drafted by the woeful Clippers and suffer injuries throughout his career. That's a pretty solid comparison though. If only they could share the whole national title thing as well.
