Has anyone else been watching lately? Friday is his last show and the last 2 weeks have been awesome. The bird watching bit was hilarious.

It will be sad to see Conan go to 10:30 and the death of characters like the masturbating bear. Hopefully, they don't screw up the show to much. It's tough to imagine Conan outside New York.

I wouldn't be so sad if Jimmy Fallon wasn't taking his place. No way in hell will I watch him. I'll be interested to see how Conan does on a more professional setting. I'm sure they will give him plenty of freedom, or atleast I hope.

Jimmy Fallon was a guest on Conan last week and you can just tell his show will be bad. NBC taking away Conan's freedom is my biggest fear with the 10:30 slot. Conan will not fit into the Leno model very well. He was a Simpson writer for christ sakes, let him do his own thing.

I totally agree. I think he will be ok, but he is gold in the later slot.

I hope they let him do his thing. I've watched the show since '93, so it's going to be weird seeing him that early. Kind of sucks that Max isn't following him and tonight with the Joel Godard highlights it doesn't look like he is either.

Anyone know how that is going to work?

Is the tonight show band and other personalities going to stay with the tonight show or with Leno?

It's going to be different without Max and the rest of the crew but the writers' strike showed that Conan will find ways to be funny even if he has to do it all by himself.

Conan vs Dave will be a difficult one for me! Good thing we have DVRs! As for Jimmy Fallon not being good...I have never been a fan but we shouldn't judge him too quickly! I remember watching the first Conan show after he replaced Dave and I couldn't make it through the show. Horrible! But he worked into it and he certainly has held his own...in fact, as I stated...he is putting me in a difficult situation! Dave vs Conan.

Wait! What? When was it announced that Max is not going with Conan? The Springsteen camp has talked a lot about the next tour fitting Max's schedule as he moves out west. Was this a recent announcement?

I guess it's not official, but they pretty much announced it on Monday's show that he wasn't coming with him.

Here is an article about it.

I follow Springsteen a lot...too much maybe. I believe it is a done deal...but things do change. I also think the Post has issues with the Springsteen camp as they tend to post/create negative rumors about the E Streeters often. Max is great on Conan...I hope this isn't true. Conan has always given Max time off to tour but things might be different at 10:30.
