New Jersey WR Karon Brookins was in town this weekend for his OV, and it looks like the local recruiting experts think he’s about to commit—or at least, really liked his visit. An 8 CB from Busse before he even visited, and a Futurecast just posted from Bill Seals.

A long 6’4”/6’5” wide receiver who can really high point the ball, his sophomore track numbers (6’6” high jump, 11.11 100m) suggest he’s in the athletic mold of recent signees Beni Ngoyi and Dom Overby. Haven’t found ‘24 track results.

I won’t say right now who his video almost reminds me of. See for yourself?

Would seem a perfect complement to Zay Robinson in this class—and the rest of the room.

Currently under the radar, despite offers from WVU and Pitt. That won’t last.

Welcome to Ames Karon!

And you can call me Karon, but please don't call me Shirley! Haha, it's getting late.

Is 3,000,000% good? ;)
Not as good as 4,000,000%.

This is awesome news, but seriously unless he cancels the rest of his visits, I'd say it's never a done deal, especially given the new NIL/play for pay era that we're living in. It's the wild West.

What's the official heirarchy?

1. "100% committed" or "committed": no nonsense, business like
2. "110%": mostly serious, but with a little over-the-top emphasis
3. "home": most emotional and endearing for us fans, but perhaps too easily swayed by another suitor
4. 111+ %: appreciate the thought, but let's get back to reality

Duh!
I’m gonna go out on a limb here, and say the hierarchy would be:

1. Don’t mock a HS kid, who’s a new Cyclone, in his commitment thread.

Short list.

It’s offseason. IMO, feel free to start a separate thread?
He’s also wearing a number 3 jersey, so instead of saying 1MM% he said 3MM% to tie it in.

Ha Ha!!! I was going to say 3,000,000 % means he's only going to take one more OV. But seriously, this is a great recruit it seems!

2 things stick out to me here. 1, that first catch was extremely impressive. Second, that RB in the orange uni still doesn’t know where he is
