Random question, but how much does a clone cone cost at Hilton these days? Trying to plan ahead for a group of kids we're bringing.

Someone check me but I think it’s $6.95 for a standard and $7.95 for a souvenir cup.
I think that sounds right. Is it me or are they smaller now? My kids got one at a women game recently and it was a normal size (not massive like I remembered from years ago).

Also, plan your clone cone run strategically. We went to the women’s game last weekend.

Walked down to get clone cones in the middle of the 2nd Q well before half time. There was no line so I decided to hit the bathroom real quick first. Came out 3 minutes later and the line was 15 people deep.

Definitely don’t try to go right before tip or during a natural break in the game if you don’t want to wait.

Not exactly sure.
Kind of Bs in my opinion that they don't have any cash stands. I for one never carry cash but I think legal barter should always be accepted in some fasion.
Some parents haven’t figured out that debit cards are their friends. My kids would go, and still do, to sports camps and there are always freshman sitting there with cash and no one takes it. Usually he texts me if it’s okay to buy these kids supper and have them reimburse him. You want to limit them to $100? , put that on a card and then turn them loose.

Thanks for the heads up on the cashless piece. That's actually the main reason I'm asking. Really makes it a pain when bringing a group of kids!
A solution could be to have the parents get a prepaid card for the kids and put a small amount of money on it. Or just have the kids give you the cash and pay for everything yourself.

I'll have to double check but this sounds like a Nostradomus quatrain....

Black ice consumes, no coin can buy the treat,
Clone-cone denied, by cold digital decree,
Frozen wasteland, where shadows darkly meet,
Cashless doom seals final misery

We got my daughter who is a freshman in high school one of those Venmo cards for teens and it works great. We can just move money over to her as needed and keep track of what she's spending it on. We ran in to the same thing where we were sending her with cash and it wasn't accepted.

It is super variable. It just depends on the people dispensing. And if you pay attention it can sometimes be the luck of the draw at the same stand.

I remember one game we went to, the cones coming out of the stand seemed really small -- I went to the other stand and they were the classic huge size.

In general I don't think you will be disappointed with what you get for the price, and if it's important you can try to check both stands to see if there's an advantage to either.
