Most importantly post the Cyclone goodies you recieved.....
We had christmas yesterday so we can all go to our other christmas' tonight/tomorrow.

Various ISU swag.....stadium seat cushion(the nice one with all the pockets and such). Large embroidered type logo hooded sweatshirt. Hoodie/shirt 2-pack. 4'X5' wool throw.

Dvd's.....Robocop 1(best movie ever!) & 2. Running man. Snakes on a plane. Rudy. American Psycho.

Work items.....Tool belt, and nail/screw apron. Tape measure, and various pairs of work gloves. Winter hooded work coat(much needed, as mine was dirty and raggedy as hell). Utility knife and precision screwdriver set(great for servicing/repairing old NES consoles).

Fun items.....3 cases of candy cigarettes (my mom rules). a load of fortune cookeis. strawberry flavored twislers. Large box of strawberry whoopers.

other......hand sewn big wool throw with various dogs print on it. 2 can of lysol nuetra air(for house/car) 2 hurley shirt. skip-bo card game. massage/heat type mat for my back. dress sweater

I managed to find one of my best friends a couple of Iowa parrot...er uh i mean hawkeye sweatshirts. Just holding that garbage burnt my flesh.

Its not even debateable that Robocop is the greatest movie of all time. Its a tragic story of a man trying to regain his humanity in the dredges of a perilous nightmare like exsistence. Seriously, its criminal that whoever wrote that script did not receive the nobel peace prize...uh, or something.....

My wife got me a replica 1967 ISU helmet, that is the best thing I have gotten so far. I cannot wait till tomorrow when she gets to open her presents, I am looking forward to the first xmas the boys are really into. They kinda understood it last year, but this year, they are really excited. I am trying to get them to fall asleep right now, but they are too wound up, knowing that santa will be here tonight.

WOW Brian! that is so great...very pricey(according to the ones i've saw in stores). She must really like you. :biglaugh:

hell, i'd be happy just to own some mini replica versions of those older helmets.

Yeah it was totally unexpected. I love it, I need to find a nice shelf for it so I can hang it with pride in our family room.

Unexpected? Great intuition on her part to drop $200+ on something that you cant really use, but she knows you'll cherish for a long time.

I've had people ask me for specific christmas wish lists then snub me on my selections on account that they didnt think those were "good gifts". :skeptical:(and it wasnt due to price).

I don't know. You could wear it to shovel the driveway. When you pck up kids from school you could have it near the back car window.

Brian, try this. Have your wife listen from outside their room/rooms after they are in bed and make sure the boys are still awake and you go outside and throw some baseballs on the roof. It really works, they'll think Santa is here!!

My Christmas present was a new car, but most importantly my wife (she's the banker) agreed that we could get ISU plates. I think that we will get the numbered ISU plates as I'm sure the unique vanity plates are pretty well gone. How much are the ISU plates anyway?

I got a hilton magic picture frame type deal. I got a college wallstars iowa state edition, looks pretty bad ***. I got Iowa state sweat pants. I got Iowa State Cyclone Santa hat. I got a 32" lcd hdtv from my gf, shes the best at getting me gifts.

The hilton magic one will go sweet with the Jack trice one I got last year, along with a picture frame of Mac's last game with tickets and newspaper articles framed into it. Will make for a good cyclone room in the future.

I believe you may have gotten a plush farting dog as well - gees, forget what your brother got you already?

I got gift cards, some new dining room furniture, tools, a popcorn machine, a new color laser printer (for CF stuff) and some other things that can either be personal or CF-related (tax purposes:wink:).

Well, who received pictures of his sister's wedding and didn't mention them?:skeptical::wink:

Brianhos, I tried talking the husband into letting me get him a Coach wallet, but he refuses on the grounds that all of the wallets he's ever owned haven't totaled up to any one of my Coach purses or even my Kate Spade. He wants to keep it that way. Would you be willing to give in to that?

Ahh come on now, that is a lie. I have to get a new wallet at least every other year, and they are $50 each now adays... over the course of 20 years, that is the cost of a wallet and a coach purse. I know, I have boughten a few of them in the past year.
