I would definitely read the message boards if I were a coach. But that's one of fifty reasons I'm not a coach.

You'd have to be crazy to implement something from the boards, though.

Certainly not Campbell or this current staff as much as a previous coaching staff from what I understand. But absolutely fan sentiment from an Athletic Department perspective is kept tabs on.

I don't find AD staff to be surprising at all. Keeping a finger on the pulse of the fanbase is key to what they do and a site like this is basically free market research. It would be negligent if they weren't watching it.

Coaches and players I think would be better off to stay away, but I can understand how difficult that could be.

I'll never forget going back and reading the threads where Bruce Vandevelde posted. Some great stuff there.
