Change xp admin password

Hey I cant figure it out. I think someone changed it on my but everyone i asked doesnt know. So I am looking for something that would allow me to change it or remove it. My roommate tried a linux thing but he failed. Is there some free boot disk that will change it easily?

If it is xp home you can remove the password in safe mode.
