Question for those in the Cedar Rapids area. I am redoing my landscaping and I need to get rid of some river rock (smaller stones). Anyone know who would take it? I have called Culver's and the Cedar River Garden Center (in Palo) an neither are will to take it (even if its free).

Or if someone needs some PM me. Its free and I am willing to deliver for free as well. Just need to get ride of it.

CraigsList.

It's how I got rid of a few tons of it myself. Advertise it for free and people will show up. Mine was gone in a day or two.

Yeah, throw it on Craigslist as "free for the hauling". I bet you get 20 responses by the end of the day.

Also, if you make it convenient to get to (on the driveway or near the street), it'll be gone sooner. I had a pile I advertised for free a couple years ago that was in my backyard and it was a struggle to get rid of because it needed to be wheelbarrow'd out. The next time I piled it on my driveway and it was gone in a day or two.

sounds like it will be craigslist then. I have never posted anything on there before anything I need to know.

1. Assume position at river rock pile.

2. Commence throwing!
