I'm planning on going out to a bar tonight to watch the ISU/Baylor basketball game. Is there any bar in Cedar Rapids where quite a few ISU fans go to watch the basketball games? If there isn't a traditional place, is anyone on here going anywhere in particular tonight or have any preferences for when you do? I'd prefer not to be the only ISU fan in the bar. Any help with be appreciated, thanks.

We may do south side BWW.

One thing I might warn you with for BWW is that tonight is a UFC pay-per-view fight night, which gets pretty crazy busy during fights, as BWW is 1 of 3 watch sights in the city (I believe). A problem that comes with that is that the fight is usually the priority and you might have a hard time getting the ISU game on the TV. It helps that the actual pay-per-view portion of the fights doesn't start until 9pm, but the prelims on FX start at 7pm.

Therefore, south side BWW may be dicey for the ISU game. However, since I'm in Marion, I did call the North side BWW and was somewhat pleasantly surprised by their response. They said that their plan is to have the ISU game on all the big screens and sound, with the prelims on the smaller TVs. Then, once the ISU game ends, they plan on switching to the pay-per-view fight right away for the big TVs and sound. The girl I talked to was actually really nice about it o(not what I've seen from CR restaurants in the past). With all this being the case, I think I might opt for the North side BWW to watch the game. I also happen to be a big UFC fan and the North side TV scenario would be optimal for what I want. The south side may be the same too, but I trusted the girl enough at the North side not to risk going South. If anyone wants to join me up north, they are welcome to. I'll be the one with the Fred Hoiberg jersey on. However, if someone on here can convince me that another location would be better, I'm not wholly committed. Thanks.
