Dominating Cap City doesn’t always translate to Big 12 success but I dont know if there’s ever been a player that’s sucked in cap city and then actually contributed at ISU.

This is how it works. Well put.
Don't get too excited if a guy excels but you can usually tell who has a limited future. Some guys won't fill up the stat sheet (bigs). You'd actually have to watch them play since you don't know if the guards even look their way.

True. However a couple years ago, it was obvious to me Shayok was the best player on the floor. So you can't predict Ws/Ls per say, but you the old saying is true "you are who you are"

I see they've eliminated nearly all weekday night games. Smart move considering most of the Iowa State/Drake players never showed up for those last year.

Drake fan here (yeah, the user name is probably a hint).

Anyway, 4 of Drake's top 5 players aren't playing in Cap City this season, not sure why. (Anthony Murphy, DJ Wilkins, Roman Penn, Noah Thomas). Would definitely rather watch those guys than the 3 Drake walk-ons in the league.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the new guys for both ISU and Drake.

Sat next to a couple of your players a couple of years ago at cap city. One was the guy with the unpronounceable name and amazing hair. Girls hanging all around them but they were talking basketball with a couple of old farts (us) from ISU...nice guys.
