You have to admit, they certainly think of inventive ways to kill people in the Final Destination movies

Anyone see “The Barbarian”?

It’s on HBO Max now. I liked quite a bit, tense, scary, with some humor thrown in every once in awhile. If anyone is going to watch I’d just say to go in blind.

I also watched Tusk after that. Not one I’d recommend unless you really like B level, dark comedies.

Watched Smile last night. Interesting depending on what you think is happening.

If you look at it as a supernatural entity stalking it's victims it falls apart in the third act as what happens there seems to have no real correlation to the first two acts.
If you view it as a complete paranoid delusion as we watch the main character spiral into madness then the third act makes a little more sense.

Just stopped by to say I was COMPLETELY underwhelmed by "Nope". Too bad, because I thought Get Out was great.
I wanted Nope to be better but I still think it's better than a lot of movies released this year. Get Out is better than Nope and both are better than US.

Holy thread resurrection, Batman!

But since you did - I have to tell you that 5 episodes in, I'm hooked on Fallout. I even have the spouse watching it with me, and he's not a big fan of apocalyptic fiction. :D

I haven’t seen Abigail yet, but I wish the trailer didn’t give away the concept. How awesome would it be to walk into the movie not knowing what she was, ala From Dusk Till Dawn.

We watched Abigail on Saturday. Good flick.

Went to First Omen last week and found it boring. But liked the concept.
