Thought he played insanely well for being a true freshman. Honestly looked like Mike Rose out there. Can’t wait to watch him keep growing, but looks like we’ve got our next great linebacker

Pretty impressive for his first collegiate game. Some areas to improve for sure, but looks like he is gonna be really good.
From a general view the LBs looked a step behind to start the game (understandable) but then started to just kind of get it as time went on and showed some real speed and physicality in there.
He also was the guy with the coaches in his ear, pretty wild to have a true freshman calling out everything in his first collegiate game. He was great and still has a lot of room to grow. Doesn't look like a freshman at all.
Instincts and physicality were much better than we saw from anyone last week. I think his play too some load off of Ebel as well. Shoutout to the DL as well who I thought were much more disruptive than they were last week.
This kid looks scary and I'm glad he's on our side. Roster lists him @ 6'4" 240. He looks bigger than that to me. I wonder if maybe he winds up in Rasheed's room?
The 1st half Johnson was gone once he got thru the line. Halftime adjustments and it was a different story, last several drives at crunch time were mostly punts and the LB’s were filling. Gotta give props to Orange & JR Single, they made significant stops that held Iowa out of the endzone in the 2nd half.
Nah he’s a future all big 12 linebacker. Rasheed always finds his guys, keep him in the LB room and let him be the staple for 4 years
