I was wondering if Nebraska and Colorado would receiver payouts from the Big 12 bowl games. I know technically they are still members until next summer, but I didn't know if the forfeited that money do to them jumping ship.

I would assume that since they are still part of the Big 12 this year that they would receive their portions of the bowl game payouts. But they will probably just be shipping most if not all of it back as part of the settlement agreements. Just my guess though.

From what I understand, the penalty money that NU and CU were assessed is being withheld from them, not returned. So I would assume that they won't be receiving any conference money this year from TV, bowl, etc. I also believe that NU is trying to challenge this withholding.
