if you watch that video you will see HD video downloads may not be as far off as some would think. Now obviously that speed is not out there to the masses, but just seeing it means it can't be that far off.

God that would be awesome. Im assuming I will get it at my house in the year 3012. I figure by then I will be a bodyless head in a jar. I can tell Fry to download my movies for me.

My ps3 plays SACD also

I don't remember the exact settings but the PS3 is connected to my Denon A/V receiver and the music is delivered PCM via HDMI. This allows the receiver to do the processing.

multi-channel but I think that's only when it's hooked up to a receiver that does the processing.

I have an old Pioneer DVD-A /SACD player (a very early model) and it does the processing for you. It's now just sitting in a box waiting for ebay.
