Texas vs. Iowa State: Last-Minute Spread Info and Predictions | Bleacher Report

The Hawkeyes are also undefeated, but they could just as easily be 0-3.

I thought we beat those Hawks.

Key Injuries
Texas LB Chet Moss (back) is questionable.
Texas WR John Harris (foot), Christian Scott (suspension), and LB Demarco Cobbs (arm) are out.
Texas QB Garrett Gilbert (shoulder) is out for the year.
Iowa State FB Brad Rogers (heart), and DB B.J. Lowery (arm) are out.
Iowa State LB Dakota Getz (knee), RB Mika'il McCall (ankle), and LB Shane DiBona (Achilles) are out for the year.

Who knew?

A win here wouldn't get Iowa State ranked, but they wouldn't be far from it. An undefeated season that includes a win over a ranked opponent is usually enough to get some votes.

Excellent logic since we're on the brink of being ranked already from the votes we're receiving.

I'm starting to think bleacherreport has a plant on this board who enjoys seeing us rage every time they **** up and call us the hawks.

They got this right, though:

"A win for either would also help their conference record."

Spell check doesn't catch stupidity in their articles...

So...so true. 29th in the polls and a win over a top 20 team doesn't get us in?

I hope he is saying an undefeated season to date? An undefeated season with a win over a top 25 opponent should get you in the top 10 at least and more likely in the top 5. Why do people even read the Bleacher Report?

Of course it's a Bleacher Report fail, when have they ever succeeded?

@mdixon1985 I don’t think you need a college degree to write for bleachers report cyclonefanatic.com/forum/football…
