You can bet after a major realignment, ALL major BCS conferences will take great glee in putting the hammer to Notre Dame. Unlike the current arrangements, where ND has special exemptions to give them BCS berths with 9-3 and 8-4 records, under the New World Order BCS, Notre Dame is going to have to go 11-1 just about every single year to get a BCS berth.

Agreed. They better hope they turn things around in a big way before the current deal turns into a pumpkin. Their only hope is unquestioned athletic excellence (manifested in lots of W's) in maintaining any sort of sweetheart deal.

Well pretty soon these conferences will be so concentrated no one will want to play a game against the likes of Notre Dame. Then they will be hung out to dry which is sweet.

Maybe Notre Dame will join the Big XII to replace Nebraska and/or Missouri. They wouldn't have to worry about revenue sharing and Beebe would probably let them keep their current Football TV contract.

Goodness gracious me... is that last word appropriate for a family friendly site? I wouldn't want young readers to come in here and see such dirty and inappropriate language and think that it is acceptable for use amongst adults, and therefore for children as well.
