Anyone seen the show? I just binged all 6 episodes last night.

The way it was pitched to me was that it is like Twilight Zone but geared more towards human interactions when technology has gone too far. When technology is synonymous with our every day lives (even more than today).

Each episode is self contained and unrelated to one another. Episode 1 of Season 1 - National Anthem, isn't as good as the others but it is a slow pitch to the rest of the series. If you can't handle that episode, then don't watch the rest. But some say to save that one towards the end. Episode 2 of Season 1 - 15 Million Merits, is what got me hooked.

They are all fantastic though and be prepared to feel kinda depressed when watching them.

Yep been watching it since it came out a few years ago. Great show. BBC is putting out much better shows than the U.S. in my opinion. Black Mirror, Luther, Broadchurch, and the best of them all The Fall. All great. If you haven't seen The Fall it's a must. Trust me.

I thought the first episode was the strongest as a concept, but not with respect to its use of technology.

Its premise made for one of the riskiest bits of television that i have seen i a long time.

Yeah that first ep is nuts. No way a plot like that gets aired on network tv here. Agreed that the second season first ep is the best of the bunch.

I thought the first episode of the 1st season and the last episode of the second season weren't that great, the 4 in the middle were really good though.

That sounds like a bad thing. I liked the show but I think BBC puts out better stuff than most US channels.

100% agree. All of the remakes so far the U.S. has gotten from BBC aren't close to the original. The Office is probably the closest but i think the BBC version is heads and shoulders funnier. They did a Broadchurch remake on Fox called Gracepoint and it was meh. I am very disappointed that they are remaking Luther here as well. No way it will be as gripping and intense as the original.

Has anyone seen season 3 yet? It's now out on Netflix. I watched Playtest last night and it was dark, thrilling and depressing...just as I remembered the show being!

I'm watching season 2 of Narcos now. Ever since I saw Black Mirror was back I've been anxious to watch it again. Very interesting show.

Just watched Season 1 Episode 1 last night (National Anthem)

Wow. Took some thinking. Then I went online to try and see what the writer was trying to portray.

If every episode makes me think that much...I'm in trouble.

The White Christmas episode with Jon Hamm is so twisted and chilling. Felt the same way after watching as I did Requiem for a Dream.

Funny, I was just introduced to this show last weekend and finished watching the entire series last night. Excellent! White Christmas and Play Test were the ones that stood out to me the most, but each were fun for me to try to guess the dark twist.

The one that made me think the most and I literally had to go get a drink to think it over was Shut Up and Dance.

All of this series was great except the military one. Men without fire I think? That one was OK. But I was blown away and left desolate like every other episode. Can't wait until the next batch comes out in the first half of 2017

Wow, this show.... So I only watched episode 3 of season 1 and episode 1 of season 3 so far. Very well done shows and great detail to technology concepts we could very well be using one day. I agree it has a twilight zone feel as you leave with a bit of pit in the stomach. Can't wait to watch the rest.
