Big XII conference

I am wondering if all this talk of ISU being kicked-out, removed or asked to leave the Big XII has any merit or if it is just rumor mill gossip? Is there even a route the conference can take to remove a school? If there is what are the steps? I am looking for facts here not conjecture.

I was really hoping this was going to be a thread about combining the Big 10 and the Big XII. Unfortunately, I was doubtful as that would be the Big XXIII. Oh well.

Yeah, really. Only conference I've ever heard of- high school OR college- that has THREE divisions instead of two. So freaking weird.

no, we'd need to ADD one more team...make the conference tournament work out better with 24 teams. the BIG XXIV conference basketball tournament starts every year in mid january.....

Didn't you get the MEMO from the Big 12?

They are doing away with the Roman Numerials. NO More BIG XII. Personally, I like them, but oh well.

To address the original post, where has it been discussed that we may be kicked out? Maybe I missed a thread, but I've only seen people here say that we should leave--not that we're being forced to leave.

I don't know of any rumors that say we're being forced to leave--well, until now I guess.
