Now they'll say they don't want a super league while working together behind the scenes to basically establish one. Sankey is so full of **** I can hardly stand it.

College football isn't run by the NCAA board of directors. It's run by television executives. And the SEC/B1G will NEVER do anything to get in the way of that until it starts costing them money. Luckily, the TV execs understand this.

The two leaders of the most powerful football conferences don’t want to relinquish money and control.

Huh….
Right, conference HQs not backing the threat of being replaced is not newsworthy

The recent collaboration between BIG and SEC HQs, and Fox and ESPN, is more informative. IMO it’s indicative that they see there’s a risk of moves that would damage at least one of the two conferences/networks, and working together their best bet.

So it’s just Sankey and Pettiti circle jerking each other. What else is new?

I gotta throw the Bullship flag on this one.

"We talk regularly with our other two colleagues in the autonomy groups," he said, referencing Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark and ACC commissioner Jim Phillips. "Do we bring everybody together? It was hard enough to schedule two conferences of athletics directors. I can't imagine trying to schedule four.

My favorite part is these two, particularly Sankey, just lied to everyone and people just go along with it. Nobody with any power calls him out on it, no media member has the balls in any of his press conferences to just stop him mid-answer and say, “Do you really believe what you are saying? Because I would say most people think you are basically lying through your teeth and don’t care about anything but yourself and the SEC.”

We know the media companies are in lock step with him, as much as their analysts bellyache about the changes. They never call out their own hypocrisy from the companies they work for.
