The article seems pretty accurate. If Chizik and staff can shore up the lines, we could make some waves this year. However, those are pretty big if's. We'll need our juco's to hit the ground running.

I agree pretty much with what was said in the article. So what is going to be a successful season next year in your mind? I would be happy if we win 6 games next year.

Six wins would be great. However, I think five would be a success. Much like basketball, I just want to see our team get better as the season progresses, and I want to see us look competitive even when we lose.

My hope is we can win 3 out of the first 4 games and hopefully 3 out of the last 4 games. Those middle 4 look pretty tough. Hopefully we can make the other teams earn their wins this year and play them competitively.

I think this is the year -

Texas A&M wins both big 12 basketball (tournament) and big 12 football championship

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are the other threats in football. Texas will see some rough times.

Big 12 North will be dominated by South - once again. Man, I hate to see the North this way, but unless Chizik does something, I don't see any others make any bold statement over the South or in bowl games.

CFN seems to be high on Nebraska. Do you guys agree?

I think they have the talent to be great but I think their coach is what is holding them back. He does so little with so much.

I'm not convinced that Callahan can take Nebraska back to the promised land. But as the article states, if he's going to do it, it has to be this year or the pressure's going up.

I think Nebraska will be as good as any team in the BigXII this next season. They could even win the conference.

As for the ISU assessment, I would totally agree that is an accurate analysis of our team.
