I edited the list above ... I think the series is at 2-4 Pac 10 then?

As far as I can tell, that is correct. I also agree that both conferences seem to be trying to keep this series a secret  I can find no information on either conference's homepage.

I think a lot of us were dissappointed with getting Oregon St. instead of a better name school, but the way things worked out, it was nice to get that win. I hope they keep the series rolling and in couple years we play USC or UCLA.

It would be nice to get a big name opponent in Hilton next year. Then we can play a smaller name on the road again in 2009.

Don't we have Oregon St. again next year at home? I thought it was working like a home and home.

The Big 12 and Pacific 10 will play a series of 12 games against each other, starting next season. There will be 10 games in a four-day span each year, with two other games outside of the regular window.
The official series includes the ten games Thursday-Sunday plus KU-Zona (KU win) and Stanford-Tech later this month for a total of 12.

And, umm, what happened to A&M? They were killing Zona before and now they're losing. Has anybody been watching and can tell me what happened?

This is correct, we'll get OSU at home next year. Then year 3 we'll get a new opponent and get a home and home with them.

So far there is a 4 year agreement if I recall correctly.

There are 12 "official" games whether they are this weekend or not. It's 6-4 with Texas-UCLA tonight and Stanford-Tech later.

Thank you for the correction. A more careful look revealed that you are indeed correct. See for example here:

COMMENTARY: Big 12/Pac-10 Challenge provides marquee matchups between Midwest, West Coast - NCAA Basketball - Yahoo! Sports

and the fact that the Big 12 refers to the Texas Tech vs. Stanford game as part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series on their official schedule:

Big 12 Conference - Official Athletic Site

I'll edit my post.

Texas just got a huge win on a ridiculous alley-oop dunk with 8 seconds left. Augustin was out of control and falling down and just sort of threw it towards the rim. James came from about 5 feet away and slammed it home. I'm not even sure if he knew the guy was there.

The conferences did a pretty ridiculous job of getting information out and making it as confusing as possible with the schedules but a lot of the games turned out to be pretty good. KU-Arizona, K-State-Oregon, and ISU-OSU all went to overtime and the A&M and UT gamaes today were both close.

So it comes down to one game 3 weeks from now just so we can tie?
If TT wins that game they should make the tie breaker whoever has the most wins against the other in the regular season/tourney. Right now we have the KU win over Zona. That would be interesting.
